•  2007 On July 20th Banyan's maintenance department expanded the capabilities listed on the FAA Air Agency Certificate. Ratings included limited propeller and accessory capabilities.

Banyan Pilot Shop receives a new name and logo in preparation for the move into Hangar 63.
•  2005 Banyan celebrates ground breaking for new 25,000 square foot FBO terminal building due for completion May 2006.
•  2005 Banyan celebrates along with the rest of Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport on the permanent change in U.S. Customs hours 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM daily.
•  2005 Addition of two 20,000 gallon tanks to accommodate JetA fuel.
•  2004 Banyan sells propeller shop to HEI Industries and sells the piston shop to former Banyan service manager, Ron Anders.

•  2004 Avfuel supplies Banyan with 5 brand new Jet fuel trucks.

•  2003 Technical departments win Brazilian Certified Repair Station approval.
•  2003 Banyan is invited to join the National Aircraft Resale Association (NARA).
•  2003 Banyan changes the company logo and commences building plans for a new FBO terminal and two hangars.
 
•  2002 Banyan establishes an aircraft acquisition, sales, and management division.
•  2002 Banyan purchases Cav-Air (another large FBO at FXE) adding numerous fuel and hangar customers, another fuel farm, and additional maintenance customers.
•  2002 Banyan is appointed the southeastern and Caribbean Pilatus Satellite Service Center.
•  2002 Banyan becomes a Cessna and Cirrus Authorized Service and Parts Distribution Center for Conquest, Caravan, and Cessna piston aircraft.
•  2001 Paul Rose joins Banyan as vice president of technical sales and support.
•  2001 The propeller shop becomes FAA approved for the overhaul and repair of governors.
•  2000 The turbine and maintenance department becomes an Authorized Honeywell TPE331 Line Service & Engine Service Center.
•  2000 An executive committee consisting of the president, chief financial officer, senior vice president of technical services; and senior vice president of aircraft acquisition & sales is formed to lead the company into the future.
•  1999 Two new hangars commence construction, adding 32,000-square-feet of hangar space and 80,000-square-feet of ramp space.
•  1999 A new IBM AS400 computer system is installed for Y2K planning and a new version of the Miller software package is installed (Wellington-Royce AS2000).
•  1999 Don Campion becomes the sole shareholder of Banyan Air Service.
•  1998 An instrument shop is added to Banyan's maintenance department.
•  1998 Banyan expands. Five new hangars are built to accommodate larger corporate aircraft. Technical departments relocate to three new hangars that provide 58,000-square-feet of service area.
•  1997 Construction is completed on a 10,700 square-foot hangar and a 30,000 square foot ramp.
•  1996 Established a separate 16,000-square-foot piston hangar solely for piston maintenance service.
•  1996 Banyan becomes a Twin Commander Authorized Service Center and performs the first Renaissance conversion on an Aero Commander 500S.
•  1996 Maintenance shop is named a certified repair station for Venezuelan and Argentinean registered aircraft.
•  1995 Banyan upgrades IT by moving from Unix custom computer software to the Miller software package on an IBM AS400.
•  1994 Banyan Air Service acquires a lease for 15 additional acres of property from Zeley Aviation and remodels existing hangar to accommodate the propeller shop.
•  1993 A turbine shop is added to the list of FAA approved services that Banyan Air Service provides (FAA/JAA #WD4R618M).
•  1990 The avionics repair and installation department is added to the company (FAA/JAA #SD4514M).
•  1989 Banyan opens its Parts Mart and Pilot's Shop - a 3,500 square foot store that stocks everything from nuts and bolts for aircraft technicians to training supplies, navigational charts, apparel and gifts for pilots and aviation enthusiasts.
•  1985 Banyan becomes an FBO with the addition of fuel services and moves to a Sheltair hangar at FXE at the end of runway 31. An alliance with Sheltair is formed to acquire service customers in the Sheltair hangar development.
•  1984 Banyan becomes an FAA certified repair station (#WD4R618M).
•  1983 Banyan moves to the Buehler building to better accommodate turbine maintenance.
•  1981 Banyan becomes a Part 135 air charter operator with several small piston aircraft.
•  1979 Don Campion and John Price (who was already in the aircraft sales business) start Banyan (in a small 4,000 square-foot hangar at the FXE airport) as an on-site maintenance facility for small charter operators.
